    Very long names in both the name fields of buddypress registration breaks theme and appearance and the top bar when very loooo…oong names are used. How to deal it programmatically?

    I find that wp org limits the number of alphabets you can register a name with, but my wp bp install allows almost unlimited length. Is there a plugin or something wp org is using ? Is it available for all ? Thanks.

    You just need to put some validation on the registration form. So, if a user decides to enter a looooooong username, then an error is displayed on screen letting the user know there’s a max length to that particular field.

    How do I put some validation ? Is there any plugin that wp org itself uses that is not bundled with wp bp downloads ? Thanks/
