Could be caused by lots of things, so it’s hard to offer any specific solutions. What hosting package/firm are you using?
To ensure you haven’t got an errent plugin at work, disable all non essential plugins to see if things improve, if possible simply run with WP and BP nothing else.
If you are on shared hosting then there may well be nothing you can do as other sites/domains may be dragging the server down, so in that event you may need to contact your host and ask them to investigate.
Until your sure where the problem lies don’t throw plugin solutions at your site, I wouldn’t have thought with your site you have need of caching plugins yet and they can cause issues if you’re not sure how to manage / configure them correctly.
Thank you for the suggestions. I disabled a few plugins and that has helped some. My hosting is through GoDaddy. Is that something that could become a problem? Or is it not so much the firm and more the package they have me set up with?
Thanks again for the help. I’ve been learning quickly, but I’ve got a long way to go.
It may be the host or the package, but it’s hard to say definitely from here. In addition to contacting your host and asking them why is your site going slow (they may be able to view log files or other server data), you say you’ve tried WP Super Cache.
Have you tried any other caching plugins? There’s a few things we can try.
