Webp how to implement Buddypress

As next generation image format google introduced webp format. It is pre optimized. One of the best digital marketer my friend Tony Adams asked how to use this. Every time custom code in cms a not a easy task.

I have seen one of the leading Website Development Company in Kolkata India have use custom code. Please suggest your valuable response.

BuddyPress does not include image handing so would not have an input to this, you should ask whoever you use for image support in BP – rtMdia or MediaPress typically.
