Website crashed twice using BP

The first time I didn’t realize it was BP that caused the issue and had to find more than 100 articles that I had on my website and repost them on a newly created website. The new one crashed again. I think this is unacceptable. The website is http://www.asyawebdesign.com. Can someone please help me?

What do you mean that the website “crashed”?

It’s highly, highly unlikely that BuddyPress would have caused you to lose any data. If, after activating BuddyPress, your screen goes white, it usually suggests that you have insufficient memory on your server. In that case, simply navigate to wp-content/plugins with an FTP client, and delete the buddypress folder. WordPress stores content separately from its program files, and your data is still safe.

Here is a very helpful codex page on “blank screens”, which is what I assume you mean by “crashed”: https://codex.buddypress.org/troubleshooting/blank-pages/

Thank you so much, Boone. This worked. I don’t know why it did this twice. And I never thought of deleting it through the FTP. Thanks again!

If you have articles in your website, then they’re stored in a database. Just because you can’t see the webpage (if it breaks) that doesn’t mean the articles disappeared.
