Website dosent reconize that I am logged in

I have made a website where users can create their own accounts, and out of the blue, it stopped working. The site acts as if I am not logged in. It doesn’t echo the correct menu items like it used to and i can’t edit my own profile. When I Try to login again It says that I am Logged in. when I try TO log out and log back in, nothing happens. I really need this fixed and appreciate any advice.
If i deactivate buddy press and reactivate it will it fix the problem?
