When deleting a BuddyPress profile account

When deleting a BuddyPress profile account from a website there should be a password enforced to allow the user to delete their profile account.

At the moment there is this under Settings on the front end:

Settings -> Delete Account -> I understand the consequences

which should be:

Settings -> Delete Account -> Enter Password -> I understand the consequences

Currently running BuddyPress Nouveau 5.1.0

I think this is more of a preference than a requimenent. One could think that if the user is already logged in, he already has the necessary permissions to delete it, so why ask the password another time.

Social medias sites like Facebook and similars, ask that to make it harder for a user to delete their own account.

So I don’t think this is a BuddyPress core issue. You can certainly add another field requiring the password on your social site before deleting the account.

The reason I suggest this is just in case a user has an option to second thought their decision just in case they may not want to totally delete their account and also to prevent them from accidentally deleting their account. I will look into adding this option as a requirement on my blog site.
