Where at the Email Settings?

Hi All,

I am trialling WordPress MU / BuddyPress locally via WAMP but I cannot seem to get any emails – I was recieving emails from my “normal” WordPress install. Any ideas where I can check the settings for SMTP Server etc?!

Thanks Jeff, will read about his and see how I can sort the issue. It is a real pain as I cannot create or use/test new users or blogs as the system emails usernames and passwords and since I don’t get the emails

I’m setting this to resolved as this issues is related to WAMP and not BuddyPress.

no problem Tony : just install the Wp Mailer plugin, you’ll receive all the email you need.

the right name of the plugin is wp php mailer

can’t help you if you’ve windows, but on linux you need to install sendmail first

on debian/ubuntu : sudo apt-get install sendmail
