White space issue with updraft caused by Buddypress

I have just started to get a message on updraft
“Warning: Your WordPress installation has a problem with outputting extra whitespace. This can corrupt backups that you download from here.”
I have identified the issue arises with Buddypress plug in. I have deleted and reinstalled Buddypress, but not change the issue.
Is there a fix for this please?

Hi,
I run updraftplus backup and the non pro version of Custmizr but don’t see those errors on any of the sites, where does it appear?

Thanks for responding.
It is in a long pink box directly beneath the option Tabs, and above “Next scheduled Backups”

No messages there on my installs. https://updraftplus.com/problems-with-extra-white-space/ has some more information on this and some troubleshooting steps that are likely worth trying.

Thanks for that link, but I already have been through this, and identified the proble as the Buddypress plug in, hence my reaching out to Buddypress.
