Why'd I get a notification about a reply that never happened?

    Hello,

    I set-up a ticket yesterday and noticed I had a Notification on my profile today so I went to it and found there was an entry saying I had one reply. Clicking it took me to my post but there was no responses there. And then when I went to mark it as read it gave an error saying it can’t take that action. It’s dealing with this support forum and not my Buddypress instance but just wanted to share.

    Could it be someone replied but deleted their response? If so can the notification be retracted?

    Sometimes replies are maked as spam. That may have been the reason? Either way, it would probably have been better if the notification was cleared to avoid confusion at your end.

    Feel free to open a Trac ticket to report the problem to our development team.

    Sorry about that confusion. It may have been a reply that ended up in moderation for a bit. We’re working on improving that in bbPress for 2.6, which is the prerelease version we’re running here.
