I am not sure where you’re at on this, but I was wondering if users will be emailed when leaving information on the wire (comments) or when sending messages. I have tried currently to leave a message on the wire, however the user is not notified by email. And currently this appears to be the best way to stay in touch with BuddyPress because there will be a number of different social platforms, however there will usually only be one email to notify of changes or communication efforts. It would be really nice to have something that notifies of new messages like Microsoft Outlook in the lower right corner, however that would probably turn off users if they had to install something. But it would be sweet!
