Word Limit in Update Post Box?

    Is there a word/character limit for posting an update? I don’t have blogs for my users, but some want to post something anyway. I’ve suggested creating a group, but that’s a paid member option for my site so I want to be able to suggest using their updates area… if there isn’t a limit.

    Anyone know?

    I just tested 1000 words (Lorem Ipsum) and it displayed fine. I think there isn’t a limit, but I could be wrong. Still looking for an answer.
