I have a Multisite running WP 3.3 and BP 1.5.3 with sites as subdomains and BP installed in a subdomain with BP-default. I’m trying to figure out how to figure out which database is being written to. The background issue is:

I had two standalone WordPress installations that I combined into one Multisite. It seems I was pretty successful in grabbing most of the Buddypress data, except User and Friend information. I was able to change the databases to reflect the same User ID for most places, like Profiles, but not all. When I look at Activity Stream, it shows the activity for more users than are members of my Buddypress site. I have looked through all of the databases and not sure where that information is coming from. Is there a way I can use Firebug to see what database the information is being pulled from? Is it possible that it is indicating all of the users on the network, not just the buddypress site?
