xProfile Required Fields Bug

    I just installed BuddyPress 2.2 and I am trying to create new members. However, it’s giving me a problem where the required fields are throwing an error. It doesn’t matter if there is text in the required fields or not the error is thrown. I’m very new to all of this and hoping to use BuddyPress on this project but it’s hard to learn with this error.

    Hi @caldwellysr,

    Thanks for testing the 2.2-beta.

    There was a bug concerning xProfile fields, which should be addressed in:
    https://buddypress.trac.wordpress.org/changeset/9345

    If you feel comfortable removing the lines referenced in bp-core/bp-core-template.php, please do so and retest.
