I did some custom CSS that solves about 50% of the problem, and that’s good enough for now.

Other option would be: redirect the general tab url to the memberpress account page.

@teleworm1337 try to repair the email template files
Tools >> BuddyPress >> Reinstall emails (delete and restore from defaults).

Also, make sure email deliveries are working fine.
