could someone help me…is there any plugin or php, or whatever, to embed in my bp post/page/subdomain…live video from other webpage (if I have embed code, or sopcast channel nr. or…)?
I mean these webpages, which are using sopcast, tvu player, vlc and so on.
As I understand, most plugins on wordpress.org offer embedding of social networks or ready video files.

actually issue re embeding live videos from other www is not solved yet, but if you want to embed sopcast or some other similar software, most of them have embeding codes where you just need to change the channel nr.

Maybe this could be of use http://buddypress.org/community/groups/videowhisper-live-streaming-integration/ . Screen sharing tools can also be used with this.
