    In July I moved one of my sites (hooping.org) off MT and Elgg into WP & BP. Now my host insists I need a “high priority” server and has jacked my rates from 19.95 a month to 59.95 a month. I need to move out. Anybody have affordable hosting they truly love? And the WP export/import is easy, but how do I move BP?

    If your current host is jacking your rates, it will destroy Godaddy imho

    You might check out this group on BuddyPress hosting: http://buddypress.org/community/groups/buddypress-hosting/forum/ It could still use more people participating and sharing their reviews, but it’s a place to start.

    The good thing is that you’re site is growing. The bad thing is that as it grows it costs more to host!
