I have a wordpress network site where I have:

mainsite.com <– main site (instance of buddypress)
site2.mainsite.com <– main site (another instance of buddypress)
site3.mainsite.com <– main site (another instance of buddypress)

Currently I have the themes looking different but only the mainsite.com is working were I can register users and post status updates.

I my assumption wrong that I could have many instances of buddypress with wordpress network?

Note this is for multiple BPs on multiple networks, not multiple BPs on multiple sites
