    Hi friends. . recently i made a fresh installation of wordpress 3.2 on my localhost using wamp. then i installed buddypress 1.2.9 on it, i made sure that i updated the permalink status and double checked it. After doing all this and taking all the necessary steps, none of the buddypress tabs seem to work on the site. activity, members etc all the pages return 404 not found error..

    do i need to do anything else as well so that these pages work correctly ???

    What theme are you using? Clear cache. Use bp-default theme to test. If it’s still not working even if you’ve already made “pretty permalinks”, what’s in your .htaccess file?
