I’ve got a copy where you can attach RSS feeds to a group but the only problem is that you need to create a user that will publish the items. I’ve created a dummy user eg “RSS Feeder” and that user publishes the RSS feeds to the group. I know…not very practical but it works. [...]

I’ve tried installing the latest buddystream plugin but when I activate it, I get the following error
Fatal error: Uncaught exception ‘Zend_Session_Exception’ with message ‘session has already been started by session.auto-start or session_start()’

So it won’t display anything when you are not logged in?

I thought so at first but when deactivating the followers plugin, the favourites profile still doesn’t display with buddystream activated.

Another problem. Since I’ve updated to the latest BP version this morning, all the updates sent to Twitter and Facebook that includes a ‘ are escaped with but it displays correctly on My Site. So can’t becomes can’t on Twitter and Facebook

I’ve updated to the latest version of BP but the External Group Blogs plugin doesn’t show the avatar of the group any more. Is there a quick fix to this to something that has changed in the latest BP update?
It doesn’t display on my custom theme or the latest default theme of BP.

that was andy’s plugin… though i did post up some hacks to fix a few bugs. there was some changes in bp1.2.6 to the stream/avatars though

only on my demo site but that is still on 1.2.5.2 – probably update it next week. i’ll take a look at what changed too (though i know boone created a new rss feed plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-external-activity/ )

When I post a tweet to Twitter and Facebook, The Twitter and Facebook update gets imported back to the network so there is 3 of the same updates.
