I would like to remove the word “avatars” from the widget “who’s online avatars” in my side bar. I can’t find a php file to edit or any way to edit the name from the back end.

Does anyone know a way I can suggest friends to users, possibly based on a survey/poll ? Or any other way I’m not considering.

Does anyone know the best/simplest plugin for allowing front end posting. I downloaded “one quick post”, but it seem a bit complicated. I’m looking for something with a button and a form thats posts to a specific category.

I’m new at this and very confused. I’m trying to figure out how to let members add posts to the front page. Only the posts I create (as admin) from the back end show up on the front page. Members can only post to the forums/groups. Is there a way to add a “post now”, [...]

I’m trying to find a setting that shows the latest post (from any member) on my home page. Currently it only shows the latest post from the administrator. If this isn’t a simple setting is there a plugin that will do this?

Hey guys is there code I can use to add links to the images in the slider? I’m using the Custom Community theme here’s a link to their demo site, so you can see the slideshow. http://www.custom-community.themekraft.com I need the large images in the slider to be clickable links.

I’m looking for a good plugin to allow users to sign up for email alerts. I would like it to be as simple as possible, just a a bar and a button. Also is there a way for me to place it in the header? I’m using the Custom Community theme.

Has anyone using the Custom Community theme been able to get the slide to work? The text from my posts is showing up but it’s not displaying the images. I hope I’m missing something obvious. Going crazy trying to figure it out . Any help would be appreciated.
