uncommenting the lines as described here seems to fix the problem with my site for the moment as well.
I’d like to add that I would love to see an option to add pagination on the bottom right of the albums, where it is more intuitive to click for more. On my screen by the time you get to the bottom view of an album, the pagination is not visible above the fold.
Would also like to see an option to the make text for pagination larger – I wonder if this can be set in my theme, currently suffusion – without affecting other elements.
Another problem I have is that the album title ends up with same color as background for the button with bp-album and suffusion theme – so “Username’s Pictures” is not legible.
Sorry if this is not the right place to post this, I posted some of the info on another pagination broken thread, and pointed to this one as temp solution. I am still not sure about navigating the proper support forums around the buddypress site these days.

I tried this and it causes the white screen of death. Tried deactivating plugin and updating code as well – and it still goes white screen of no return / no info.
Would love to get this sorted, got my first ever complaints from users over this – lol.
