to answer your questions …
1) bp-group-control should work with 3.0.1, although it hasn’t been tested beyond 3.0. Definitely compatible with bp 1.2

New job … haven’t been in touch for a while, sorry. There is currently no mass import to group feature with this module.
btw – if you are building a new site, I strongly recommend using wp 3.0 not wpmu. I think wp 3.0 has merged with wpmu and thus has all its features.

hmm. I wonder if you are using an older version of PHP that doesn’t like that syntax. Anyway, try downloading the new version of BP-group-control from the plugin repository. I changed the syntax in that line so it shouldn’t give you that same error.

A few questions: are you using wordpress or wordpress mu? I could not reproduce this error on my installation of regular wordpress 2.9.2. The white screen means a PHP error of some kind. Can you check your error logs to see what is happening?

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll fix that permissions bug as soon as I can. I agree that ”add” is confusing, I did it to save space in the tabs row. You are right that the two add methods should be combined into one tab – that will be implemented in the next version.-
thanks for the response. one more thing: you should probably put the back end admin menu in the buddypress menu, not the settings menu. that seems to be the convention for buddypress plugins. I like the Identifying groups feature, it will be helpful on my site. It might be nice to be able to customize the name of this button too. cheers
