Howdy! It seems like this setup is based more on Twitter. I was over at Mingle, checking out their setup, and it seems that on signup you are automatically given 8 friends. I kinda like that. View

@jenniferljl I’ve been using this plugin on 1.2.6 without any problems also. I agree this is really an essential plugin to grow a community.
