@wwwanders you don’t move language files via Settings > General. You can upload the language files directly to wp-content/languages/ folder on your server via FTP/cPanel/File Manger, etc.

@amar441 Arabic right? You have to rename your file so it has the language and country code to something like this:
buddypress_ar_SA.mo
where small_aris language code and _SA is country code for Saudi […] -

searched all files, found one item, correct regarding the po file but still not translate. This is a total mystery….

It looks like it should. Are you using an existing widget, or have you tried dropping in new one?
