Hi @megainfo.
Could you please be a bit more specific?
I would like to track how many people click on the “Submit” button after they fill out the form in the /register/ page.
Then I would like to track how many go to the /activate/ page.
This will help me see the funnel: Ad -> Register page -> Submit Form succes -> Activate
Thank you!
Paul. I’m sorry I never responded. I did not get a notification and forgot I came here.
I have found a solution, it was my theme with the error.
Thank you for such a great plugin.
Giovanni
Thanks!!!
I have not tried this yet but soon will. I’ve been waiting for a year for this solution. I wonder why the BP gurus dropped the ball on this.
Great plugin. Thanks so much!
I’d like to have a plugin that will not send the activation key until the admin of the website checks the member registration.
Basically http://website.com/register is an application to join the community and their application is pending until the admin checks their profile.
Is there a plugin that does this? Or do you have ideas on how to do this?
Thanks!
Hi Paul,
It’s a premium version but the section where someone registers with a ticket is the same as the free version. they do not have a do_action function call….
However, I know PHP and I’m a beginner developer for WP … I just don’t know how the do_action() work…
Could you please be so kind and let me know what I need to do? I’m OK with modifying the plugin, I have done that already many times to satisfy the needs of my website.
Thanks!
Giovanni
Hi all,
Can you filter based on different actions?
activity_update and friendship_created?
What would be the syntax?
Thanks!
@pisanojm. i also used the BP default theme. and nothing…
@pisanojm. I tried your recommendations. I deactivated all plugins, updated WP and BP to the latest versions.
I ran the manual import. I did get a message: Facebook imported in 1.39195394516 seconds
However, out of the three users, only one of them was able to import 18 items. The other two do not have any items imported.
Thoughts?
@chestnu_jp. how did you fix it?!
Ok, just tested and ran the cron. The import still does not seem to work.
In addition, I’m looking at the statistics tab of my dashboard for FB (http://lamsocialclub.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=buddystream_facebook&settings=statitics), and it says that 0 members are using the integration. However, I have to members using it.
Amount of users: 3364
Amount of user using Facebook integration: 0
Percentage of users using Facebook integration: 0%However, when I click on the USERS tab, it does list the two users using it.
Any thoughts why this might happen?
Excited. Will install and test right now.
However, the cronjob command that Buddypress gives does not seem to be in the right format? Or is it?
*/5 * * * * wget http://lamsocialclub.com/wp-content/plugins/buddystream/import.php >/dev/null 2>&1
@philippmuenchen and @sbrajesh.
Thanks for your discussion. Did you ever figure this out?
I’m trying to show all groups and make sure that all required fields get filled. I tried your solution and yes, it shows all fields but it allows user to create account without filling out all required fields.
Thanks for the response in advance.
Giovanni
Thanks. However, I just upgraded to buddypress 1.2.4.1 and it works, however, I have multiple “Groups” in the xprofile field and it only requires the “Base” group to be filled. Any way to show all group fields at sign-up?
Thanks
Hello.
Did you guys ever find a solution? I’m trying to find it online but no luck.
Thanks!
Problem with that though is that if Buddypress changes the structure, this won’t work in the future?
