Yes, I understand that css could potentially break js. I was just referring to simple styling within css, not changing class names or anything like that. Thank you for the links. I’ll take a look at them and see if those will help with my avatar cropping issue.
I had someone help change the look of my profile pages. I’m pretty sure it was mostly the css but there was some programing that took place to help get the look I wanted. There was added code to make a cover image (similar to facebook) and the rounded corners on the avatars. I’m pretty sure the rounded corners was just some css so I don’t think that did anything to break the code.
I’m running the newest version of wp. Wp is running in a subdirectory. I’m running 2.0.1 version of BP. My wordress theme is called Hot Topic and I think the BP theme is standard. I don’t know if I have any custom functions in bp-custom.ph. I’m not running bbPress. Hosted by Bluehost.
Is there maybe a way where the user can select a college when registering in a drop down and then the college icon associated with that college could appear on their profile page?
