Ben, do you mean I can’t embed the video on the page, and that I can only put a link to YouTube (and therefore send the visitor away from my site)?

Thanks I checked for that line of code in green highlight and it is present, so am using the latest version. It seems that some things are missing from my non-standard template then? I have the BuddyPress Template Pack and everything seems otherwise ok. I have no idea how to troubleshoot and fix this. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply! I guess it’s yet *another* thing that’s not working using the non standard theme. I had thought as much, just wanted someone to confirm. Very frustrating 🙁

I found it!! I didn’t expect it to be so hidden away: you have to log in as the user, go to the profile tab, click edit, then hidden between the page title “Editing ‘Base’ Profile Group” and the fields for the base group is a button for the additional group. Click on that and the new fields appear. Phew!

    Thanks for your reply @mercime

I’ve opened that file but what am I looking for? There’s no version info in here. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I’m using the latest versions of WP and BP but my theme is not standard and I’m using the template plugin. Is there a way I can fix my template?

I’m using the newest ET template called Glow. Here’s the link to a profile page: http://www.bookofburlesque.com/burlesque-performer-profiles/beeby-rose/

Hmmm ok my code keeps getting stripped out of my reply even using the code tag button here.

I mean the first line for the header-buddypress file which GETs the header 😉

That is what I call amazing support!! Thank you SO much 🙂

btw the first line of code on the page you linked to (below) results in a double header/logo, so I removed that bit and now the site looks perfect:

    Thanks again!!

I just noticed a typo in the filename I had!!! The filename is now spelled correctly as ‘sidebar-buddypress.php’ and it is loading! Sorry about that…

Any idea why my sidebar is only starting after the last item in the content area? I’m using the latest template from ET, it’s called GLOW: http://bookofburlesque.com/members/

    Thanks for your help
