Its ridiculous you are bound to be loosing users that give up in frustration because they cant find their answers – or the same questions gets asked over and over for the same reason wasting resources. And I just started a new thread exclaiming the same because I couldn’t find this thread – I had to use google which returns lots of links to plugins about forums or about search functions.
So Multisite BuddyPress and WP now, all other plugins removed.
This makes no difference there is no interface for someone newly registerred to act as a contributor.
On delving it is obvious why – new registrants are not added to existing sites including the main blog. If you add a user manually to the main blog he gets his contributor interface.
So I guess what I need to know is if there is a way to automatically add him to the main blog on sign-up.

No they’re set to a mix of Logged in Users or My Friends.
But as I mentioned when i look at My Test Friend they dont show!
God I hate this forum functionality – in the head of the post I have just made it says: “Deleted User said 1 minuit ago” what is that supposed to mean?
I know this is the wrong place and I appologise but where is the link in here for making a New Post!!!
