no, that didn’t work. what did work eventually was clicking on a link to edit one of my pages .. and that had the effect of letting me into the dashboard.

Anyway … just did some more tinkering. Disaster at first resulting in near death .. but got out alive, and continued. Now realised that what I needed was to re-do the BP Template Pack activation process. Now done that, and groups are alive again. Maybe this will help someone one day ….

Can you please say it slowly in noob-speak .. what file is the stylesheet? and what wp folder would I find it in? and where exactly within the text of the document would I paste that line?
I want to do it this way because this is a very small community with a finite purpose, for whom the WP site is a practical communication tool. It’s not intended to attract passers-by or forum junkies.
Similar issue here. Created just one group. Couldn’t create topics at all – at first. (Error: “there was a problem creating the topic”, or similar ..) Then got over that one by reinstalling bbforum. But that’s the only joy. I also get the “no topics found” (and topics ‘0’), despite the topics arguably existing in a different view.
And the other thing: no one gets any e-mail notifications of forum posts. E-mails of changes to group details do get sent, but not forum post notifications.
Can anyone help?
