Anyone else made progess on this? Seems like such a fundamental idea, can’t believe it doesn’t exist already! Am hoping future version of Buddypress work to add a more seamless interface btwn WordPress and Buddypress.

I’m looking for something similar – need to be able to update user profiles as an admin from backend…let me know if you find anything! 
Maybe I’m coming at this the wrong way. Maybe by “active” BP just means having had recent activity. In that case, how to show all members regardless of activity level, AND, how to manage user profiles as an admin (ie, adding info, etc)?
