Activity stream to album or gallery

Hey, I am testing buddypress here: test.ridetromso.com. At the moment i’m using activity stream plus which seems to work fine. The only trouble is I would like the photo to be stored somewhere, either under the users profile or even just as an archive of all users photo updates. Can I link activity stream plus to a gallery plugin or something like that? or does BP gallery have this function? If it does can you then have a large searchable public gallery created from all the user gallerys?

Yep will do. But no-one knows of another plugin that could achieve this? activity plus is the only plugin that allows you to add media as a “status update”?

@transmission there are alternatives
- free BuddyPress Media http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-media/ – not tried this, don’t know if it uploads media from status update page
- free beta BP Media http://code.google.com/p/buddypress-media/
- premium BP Gallery http://buddydev.com/plugins/bp-gallery/
