Best invitation/sign-up code plugin?

    Hello! I need invitation codes on my buddypress website. I had thought to use BAW Invitation codes (buddypress version) but for some reason I can’t get it to work. It is not showing up in the registration form.
    I did find an alternative: WPMUDEV’s sign-up code. But it’s 20 bucks, so I’d rather use BAW :) Did anyone get it to work?

    There’s no code field showing up on my registration page. I have used BAW before in combination with S2members, and it worked just fine. I posted about this in the wordpress support forum, but I didn’t get a reply.

    I installed it and it works with the bp registration page. You may not have the BP version. Download this one here https://github.com/modemlooper/bp-codes

    The developer has the BP version hidden in svn.

    Wow thanks for taking the time to work all of this out for me! Very much appreciated :) I thought I did download the correct version. I’ll give it another shot and let you know how it went.

    Woohoo it works, thank you very much! It did add two (excluding the invitation code field) that weren’t there to the registration page: first name and last name. What’s up with that?

    @Florence, you seem to have it up and running thanks to @modemlooper ‘s help. Just in case, have you seen this plugin? it is probably the most popular one and it was made to work with BP (Boone wrote it):

    Does anyone know how to take out the extra fields BAW creates? The first and last name boxes? I don’t know why it’s adding those. They don’t seem to do anything.
