BuddyPress Group Friend Invite Email Link Loop Error

I am experiencing an issue with the email that get’s sent out when you invite a BuddyPress friend to a new group.

The email provides a link to a head to the users group invites page.

When the user clicks on it, it is sending them to a page that states a redirect loop error.

Anyone know the cause and how to fix it?

I am running the latest version of wordpress

Wordpress as a directory and is root.

I am using Multinews Theme which has Buddypress integrated into it’s theme
