BuddyPress.org

installed buddypress and can’t see any new users in main site. i can see them fine under the network admin user panel.
i need to be able to see them in my main site because i want to assign different roles. i know of the ‘multisite user management’ plugin, but my site has 2 different types of users. so i can’t have them all assigned as 1 role.

it’s weird but i have bbpress installed, and when the box for ‘auto assign roles’ is checked, everyone is assigned as a participant role but i can see the user in my main site. when the box is unchecked, they don’t appear on my main site.

any help? i’ve been stuck on this for days
