Facebook Pages-like ?

Hello,

Is there a way plugin or other to something similar to the Facebook ‘pages’ in BuddyPress ?

I would like to be able to create “clubs” in addition to the groups.

– Members could join a Club

– Clubs creator / moderator could publish activity in the club’s name instead of their own name.

Regular groups would still exists

Yes. Use groups and extend them. If you haven’t seen it, @Andy is creating a new plugin repository for Buddypress. The whole thing is based on the regular buddypress groups but it’s quite different.

Sadly, my coding skills are just above the sauropods’ ones

I might eventually create a plugin but It will take me time and won’t be really good

But who knows… in time of needs, one can learn pretty fast.

I’ll have a look at how to extend groups then.
