when i put a widget on first, second, third, fourth footer widget area, it doesnt show up

im using darwin of buddypress

Darwin theme has not been updated for 2 years. Second, the child theme theme does not have the required widget areas in footer.php.

You can copy over buddypress/bp-themes/footer.php to replace Darwin’s footer.php file but you just might have to style the footer widget areas.

and also i want to know how can i make my header 100% width just like here at buddypress
