    I am using the latest version of buddypress. I have both group and sitewide forums. The site is a review social network. The sitewide forum is for people to post reviews. Right now I only have 2 groups, as the site grows users will be able to create their own groups and have a forum. The 2 groups I have is one for all users (I don’t want a forum for this group), and the second group is just for businesses that join the site. The business member group has a forum that I am only making visible to the business members.

    With all of that being said, the forums page is showing. How can I set the forums page to be the sitewide forums? I have the custom link in the navigation bar and that is fine. But in the community widget, there is a link for forums and I do not want that because it just takes you to an empty forum and I do not want them to use that for their reviews. Ideally I would love for that to go to the review forum. Hope this makes sense.

    If you do not want a group to have a forum, then do not enable the group’s forums in that groups admin page.

    If you want to make the forum visible to only the business members group, then make that group a Private Group or a Hidden Group.

    Not clear whether you’re referring to the group forum or the sitewide forums page.

    Not clear. Do you mean that you want to use the “forums” slug for your sitewide forums?

    Not clear. Which community widget? What theme are you using?

    @mercime,

    When logged in on the left sidebar there are various links, such as activity, members, groups, and forums. When I click that forums link it goes to the forums directory page ex: site.com/forums. I would like that to go to the site-wide forum which is site.com/forums/forums/kudos-forum.

    I have tried changing the forums slug in the bbpress settings to kudos, but than says page not found when I click the link in the nav bar.

    you can look at the site (it is not finished) http://www.kudosbuzz.com
