I can’t get my forums to work. When I try to post on my group forums I get a message in red that says “There was an error when creating the topic”

Any suggestions?

WP/BP versions? Multisite or single WP? Are you using BP default theme or custom theme? Did you check out http://codex.buddypress.org/getting-started/installing-group-and-sitewide-forums/

BuddyPress Version 1.6.1
Wordpress version 3.4.2
I am using the default Buddypress theme. I did checkout the link you provided and it looks like I installed everything ok.
