Group Avatars for Admins & Moderators

    Hi,

    Is there anyway possible to change the avatar thats posted in groups so its more like Facebook Pages? By this I mean when an admin/moderator posts in a group, instead of saying “Billzy posted in the group xyz” it just says “xyz posted an update:” whilst at the same time using the group avatar instead of my personal one?

    Thus hiding the admins and moderators of a group from being identified by their personal account?

    I have been looking across the net with no success, is there anyone out there who can help?

    If that’s going to be implemented for all groups, then either you’d need to change a great number of BP template files and change group core functions or create a new group component plugin which will automatically be called when you create a new group. Either way, you’d need to hire a developer to do so or hope someone will create such a plugin sometime soon.

    If its some fixes in the template files that could be possible… We have a very custom theme… Any idea which template files would be the best to start with?
