Has anyone created a subset of friends(list system)for Buddypress users?

    Has anyone created a plugin to make subsets of friends in BuddyPress? Our site already has this, but it currently isn’t written in BuddyPress. If no one has could someone point me to the BuddyPress documentation to do this? Or should I just write it in pure PHP? I like to do things the WordPress / BuddyPress way, so that’s why I am asking first.

    I am not sure that something is out there to do that but it does sound like a nice idea and I can see it being useful. Off the top of my head you could do something possibly using profile fields. Maybe in a similar way to tagging. There probably are a number of ways to achieve this though.

    Are you permitted to give us authorization to use that plugin and if so are you authorizing us and others to use that plugin? It isn’t in the repo and since it doesn’t say it is gpl, I am required to ask those questions.

    Apologies. I should have revisited this sooner. The plugin is being re-worked and should be added to the repo shortly. It was always my intent to have it shared once it was completed. Stay tuned.
