How to I am ONLINE” or “I am OFFLINE” next to user name?

    I would like to have a status update next to the username of all members, which tells viewers if they’re online or offline. Basically like vBulletin and their Green or Red light.

    I’ve been looking at the “Who’s Online” widget thinking I could use the same coding but instead of an avatar it would be a green image. Has anyone customized code like this before?
