Infinite Redirects

I have a pretty fresh install of BuddyPress 1.1.1, on a new install of WPMU, and I am having this really annoying behavior where on occasion when I try lo go to my Dashboard, I get stuck in an infinite url redirect.

In order to get in, I have to empty my cache and clear all cookies. This happens in both Safari and Firefox on the Mac…

Any ideas?

Did you update your permalinks? Even if you don’t change your permalink structure I believe you need to at least go to that page and hit save.

hmm, maybe I spoke too soon.. seems to still be happening…

Yup, it didn’t seem to fix it… this is really annoying.. it happens constantly, sometimes I have to lush my cache and cookies 4 or 5 times before it will let me back in the admin panel…

I should add that our site http://community.maccreate.com is on a subdomain ( obviously ) and the mu blogs are set up as sub-directories… so http://community.maccreate.com/micahwalter is one for example…

Check your server error log file. Also, assuming you’re using mod_rewrite, you can change your settings to log debug info which should help find why your getting infinite redirects.
