Limit the maximum images uploaded

    Hi guys,

    I was wondering how can I limit the maximum images upload by user role (I’ve a paid membership plugin that allow me define users role and their functionality).

    E.g: If the user role is A, the user can have 10 pictures uploaded in his profile.
    If the user role is B, the user can have 20 pictures uploaded.

    I try searching for max_public_images but I can’t found anything.

    Any solution?

    @kakilo How are you uploading profile images anyway? BP does not offer such a function by default.
    (or are you talking about photos uploaded into activity stream?)

    i couldn’t add any avatar on profile// is there any way to upload images// itz getting error, pls do a help.

    Hi @sooskriszta,

    I’m using these plugins combined: bbPress, BuddyPress and BuddyPress Media (rtMedia).
    I am also using a plugin to control membership access (PaidMemberShipPro), which give me codes to restrict content to only allowed users groups.

    In that case, I wish that the maximum image files uploaded in ‘album’ (bp-album, I guess) defined to a default value if the user is not from the member group allowed to have a higher number of images uploaded. (I know how to do that, but where can I define the maximum number of pics that a user can upload? (ike the max public images, max private images…)

    I think it’s not from rtMedia, because I want to limit the ALBUM ACESS. (it exists without the plugin rtMedia, it is not from rtMedia, rtMedia creates ‘Media’ tab, the ‘Album’ tab or the functionalities of the ‘album’ is not from rtMedia)

    I think it is bp-album ou bbpress something. That’s why I’m asking for help :[

    I think it’s not from rtMedia

    It’s getting a bit confusing. You need to figure out which plugin is creating the album that you want to modify and then you need to ask that plugin’s author for support. BuddyPress does not provide any media capabilities by default, though that has been requested.

    P.S. rtMedia (previously known as BuddyPress Media) does create a Media tab. And it creates various albums under that tab.
