Missing BP Compatibility from Appearance Menu

  • Hey all, I’m new to BuddyPress and am trying to install it onto a client’s WP site which is not compatible with BP. I installed the BP Template Pack as I read in the forums that it is needed to make a theme compatible with BP. Problem is that once the plugin is installed and activated it does not appear in the menu as it is said to appear, or anywhere for that matter. Am I missing a step?

Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

@TammyM Should show up in dashboard menu Appearance > BP Compatibility if both BuddyPress and BP Template Pack plugins are activated. What versions of BP and template pack plugins are you using?

Doh! *smacks herself in the forehead* I didn’t have BP installed, just the template pack.

@TammyM glad it was a simple fix. Onwards and upwards! :-)

I have the same problem here. But in my case Buddypress is properly installed. I have latest version of BP and BP Template pack.

I can’t see any of BP options either (I can’t “open” the submenu, since there is no options in there).

I’m using Hybrid as “framework”… Does anyone knows what is the problem??

    Thanks in advance!

brubrant could it be that you’re on a multisite Installation? Go to Network Admin > dashboard > BuddyPress settings etc.
