Moving wire post box up top

Hi all, this has been done on the demo site and I’m having no luck. I would like to move the wire post box or input box to the top of posts rather than it appearing at the bottom of everything. Problem is, if I just move the function <?php bp_wire_get_post_form() ?> to where I want it, when you click ‘post’ nothing works or gets posted and no ‘successful’ message comes up.

Can someone please tell me what I’m missing?

    Thanks very much

Still having no luck with this, moving any of the code seems to do nothing, if anyone can lend a helping hand it will be much appreciated!

    Thanks again

I would also be interested in this, at the moment I’ve had to move it with CSS but would be far better if the HTML was changed instead.

I’m having the same issue, and want to place the wire post form at the top of the page.

I tried using bp_wire_get_post_form(), but it relies on the global $wire_posts_template->can_post returning true

I can’t see anyway to set this to true without hacking the BP code.

Do any BP / Coding experts have a better insight on how to do this?
