I have searched for two days to find the answer to the following question. If it has been posted in the forums please send me to that post.

Question: How do you change the layout of the profile page?

I sort of understand how it works and have already deleted the user menu and left the options menu. We are going to rename the options menu to something more useful. The layout we’re looking for is below.

The members avatar is on the left where the options bar is currently. Then the members name and profile information. The right column would be used for widgets and ads. We have hacked at the profile files and the css but, can’t get it right. This can’t be complicated and can’t figure out what we’re doing wrong. Do we have to completely rewrite the css for these areas to get what we’re looking for.
