Register page won't appear

    I am running WordPress 2.9.2 and Buddypress 1.2.3.

    When using both the default BP theme OR my modified child theme, I can’t get the “register” page to appear in either case. Typing in myurl.com/register only refreshes the home page and doesn’t bring up anything. Again, this happens on BOTH the default theme and my child.

    Any ideas? I’ve looked through various other threads and can’t find any solution.

    I just answered my own question. For anyone else who experiences this, make sure you have checkmarked “Anyone can register” in WordPress > Settings > General.
