I am editing my registration page to include the location of the user.

Now I have used firebug to copy Adobe’s country drop-down list in their registration page.

The country’s work fine , but when I copy the states it doesn’t work.

I think there is a rule that after you select the country , the states for that country automatically comes up.

I have copied the whole thing and individual elements , but neither work.

Then selected create account to get the info.

Maybe there is some rule that I must put in for this to work?
