    @artisantopia do post the pastebin url for content-page.php file. If you don’t have it, do ask the theme author where `et_template_part( ‘content’, themeblvd_get_part( ‘page’ ) )` is so I can help you fix alignment of the BP template files.

    @artisantopia Per scan of your theme’s HTML structure, you’d need to use the first option, i.e., change 16 template files within the 6 BP folders transferred to your Alyeska theme folder in server during the compatibility process.

    Wow @mercime – awesome, thanks!

    I followed your instructions, plus added the css in the link above to style.css in the child theme. The only other change I needed to make was adding this to align the text with the avatar image:
    `div#item-header-avatar img {
    align: left;
    }`

    And so far everything looks good!

    Thank you again – you are such an amazing resource here in the support forums and I can’t thank you enough!!

    @artisantopia you’re welcome. marking this as resolved.

    My apologies I’m terrible with my understanding of php etc.. but when I copied the code above for another Themeblvd theme (Akita) the resulting page comes up blank? Is their a solution for the Akita theme?
    The themes page.php file is as follows:

    [ Edit - removed code.
    -- Mercime ]

    @keats18 Each theme has a different solution depending on the HTML structure, so you need to start a new topic for your own theme ( as I see you have now http://buddypress.org/community/groups/installing-buddypress/forum/topic/html-changes-for-akita-theme/ )

    Please don’t post big blocks of code here but in pastebin.com, then post the generated URI in your post.

    Apologies @mercime I have started a new topic using pastebin

    Hi mercime,

    I saw you helped buddypress users before with the alyeska theme. I have downloaded the latest version of bbpress and i have installed the alyeska theme but i dont have a child theme.

    The problem is i want to make my buddypress compatible with the alyeska theme.

    example of a buddypress page on my website: http://www.kleedkamerkratje.nl/teamleden/
    I want to adjust the width of the page to full-width but the sidebar shows on every buddypress page. I dont want this offcourse.

    Lucky for me i found this forum.

    I have followed your steps and got stuck in step A. I dont know what to replace in my php files. Do i copy/paste your code in the first line in these files? or do i overwrite this part

    Sorry for my bad english im dutch!

    I hope you can help me

    @aronmartin the old code got mangled with the redesign so do not copy the leftovers above. I did make backups of instructions I posted in the forums. I just have to look for that one and post the code somewhere. Will let you know in about an hour or so.

    @mercime hey i followed your steps and replaced the right lines and i pasted the twenty ten stylesheet below in my theme’s style sheet.

    First of all thanks for helping. The result now is that my bbpress page’s show a blanc page.

    If you like i can give you acces to the cms so you can see and maybe adjust the php files and the style sheet? Or do you have another solution?

    that would be great because i’m trying hard but it still doesnt work! :/

    Grtz Aron
