I thought it was only me that was able to create forums for my buddypress site but spammers keep creating forums also and posting spamming messages as the discription. How can I stop users or spammers from creating forums and only allow them to only create topics?

@johnjf based on your topic, I assume this is in reference to bbPress plugin aka Sitewide Forums. If so, only the Super Admin or the Administrator can create Forums or Sub-Forums. If other users are doing so in your installation, you could have been hacked or could have set “Administrator” as default role of new users in your installation.

hmm you can view my forum at http://elusivebuck.com/community/ and see examples. How would I go about blocking these users?
